Renowned for its cozy ambiance and friendly service, this delightful bistro is the ideal spot for those seeking fresh, locally sourced food in a serene countryside setting.
Visitors to Carmichael Bistro & Tearoom rave about the lovely selection of baked goods and the heartfelt attention given by its staff. One customer, Marilyn Montgomery, noted the nice assortment of cakes that paired perfectly with a warm cup of tea, all while adhering to good COVID safety protocols. This commitment to safety, combined with the inviting atmosphere, ensures that guests feel both welcome and secure during their visit.
The menu showcases a delightful mix of offerings, with standout items like the homemade soups and hearty sandwiches highlighted by Louise Gray. She describes the fare as excellent value, all while enjoying the scenic farm surroundings. My family and I had a wonderful Christmas menu experience at the Bistro yesterday evening. Fabulous, succulent turkey, delicious stuffing, potatoes and veg. Fantastic starters and enormous desserts too! A warm and friendly atmosphere. A lovely evening. Thank you!

Fantastic food, excellent service and a great location too. Definitely recommend this place. It sits almost at the bottom of Tinto, which is a great hike for walkers. It took almost two hours to get to the top and the views are spectacular to say the least. The restaurant is next to the Carmichael farm shop, so after your meal, pop in and pick up some first class meat too. We'll definitely be back again. Well-earned five stars!
